Royal Aroma in Kaiserslautern

Really great food and you get a lot for what you pay! The garlic naan was delicious and my husband was a big fan of the mango chicken. Our order was ready in about 20 minutes and it was delicious! Great for take out and the owner was very friendly. They speak perfect English as well.

Tried the Royal Aroma for the first time last night. Due to Corona, you can currently only take the food with you, but we loved it! Delicious. We'll be back 😊

Amazing korma and masala

We had Paneer Tandoori tikka masala, veg platter as starters and fish vindaloo and paneer curry as main course. They serve complimentary papad and achaar. The food was okayish. Ask them to spicy up more if you are Indian as the spices are very mild and made according to other nationatilies.

Very tasty Indian food. Well seasoned, but not too hot so that you can't taste anything after the second bite :-D Absolutely acceptable in terms of price. The audience there seems to be mostly US-Americans.

Hands down, the best Indian food in the area that we’ve found so far. Great decor and seems to be family operated. Always warm, friendly service. One of our favorite restaurants here.

Amazing!!! Great service, extremely authentic. I am a bit of an Indian food fanatic, and I can say with certainty that this is the best Indian food in the area. Also they have delicious vegetarian/vegan options available! I'm on a plant based diet and my husband isn't (so we order some of everything). We both loved it. 10/10

My husband and I have been living in Germany (originally from Texas) for about a month now. This is hands down the best meal we have had in our time here. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed an awesome meal/drinks. All of our dishes were amazing. We had a rainbow salad, garlic naan, lamb boti, and chicken biryani. Talk about a FLAVOR EXPLOSION. Everything was delicious and our server was very kind! We will definitely be back!

This is the best Indian food I have ever had. Chicken Biryani with Garlic Naan was ridiculously good and the portion size was double what I expected. Dip the Naan in the Raita (yoghurt sauce) and you are in heaven. My wife and I should have shared the entree so we didn’t have so much leftover. The rainbow salad was also very very good. I am going to have to go back multiple times to try several other menu items. Very friendly and spoke great English. I’m mad that we didn’t try this place earlier since we pass it almost every day where we live.

Parking at this location is free and spaces are limited but we have so far not have had any issues finding parking. The place is super nice, the decor is super cool and they have some cool music and videos going on on TV. The staff is super nice and they are so friendly! this place also accommodated our party and separated our checks for us. THE TROPICAL- this drink is refreshing and also it is a little weak but for a light drinker this was perfect! I was looking for a fruity drink and this was perfect. CHICKEN SHAHI KORMA- this was a pretty good dish, it is a little bit on the sweet side but none the less pretty good. this is also not a spicy dish so it was perfect for me, but if you are looking for something not in the sweet side perhaps this is not the dish for you. CHEESE NAAN- this was a fresh piece of naan, the cheese was a bit weird, it looked and felt like scrambled eggs to be honest but the taste was definitely there. LUNCH OFFER SMALL - we also came another day and tried their lunch special, they had two sizes a small and a large, I selected the small and I was pretty satisfied with it, the choices are depending on the chef for the protein but it is a perfect way to sample some of the dishes they have on the full dinner menu. the small dish is definitely enough for one person and I even took some food home. This place is pretty good and they also take cards. this was a great experience and I definitely recommend.

TOP attentive staff, delicious food

So far this is the best Indian food restaurant that I know of in the Kaiserslautern area. My family had never eaten Indian food before so I bought nearly one of everything on the menu and was pleased to see how quick the staff was to attend my needs. The flavors were amazing and the quantities of food were also a very decent sized portion. I will go back to the location soon since my family now loves Indian food.

That was my first time eating at Royal Aroma and it was great! Food was great and authentic and great service as well!

Great take out Chicken Tikka Masala! The type of rice used didn't allow for any of the sauce to be soaked up by it, which made it a tad runny. Overall, great flavor and I'd order it again and use my own rice.

Not as flavorful as other Indian places I've been too. Was expecting better after reading reviews.

Were having dinner there. Due to the many positive reviews, we tried it and were very disappointed. The iced tea was just cold black tea with no taste. The food was very modest. The portions very small. Even the rice was saved. 40 euros left there. Not again.

A few delicious dips in advance, then samosas, plain raita, chicken vindaloo, madras chicken curry and delicious butter naan to absorb the fantastic sauces. In addition, a friendly service and everything at a manageable price. Thank you for the good food.

The food here was really good and the price was very reasonable. I went on a weekend when they had the buffet laid out (the last weekend of every month). The naan wasn't quite as good as some I've had, but I thought the food was well seasoned, overall. I'll be going back!

We were searching for a good Indian restaurant and was happy with found Royal Aroma. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent food with top notch customer service and environment makes it an easy pick for Indian food. Added bonus is ample free parking. Definitely recommended if you want to eat Indian food.

Complete hit and miss. When the manager is there the food is amazing, best curry house in the area. We went twice when he wasnt including Monday and it was terrible. We order 2 curries and they came cold with 0 spiced we had to send both back. They came back out in under 2 mins no difference just a little warmer Edit. Manager messaged and apologised. He is great. As mentioned amazing place to go when here and he has ensured he will solve the rest.

My favorite Indian food in this area so far. The service is great! The people are very nice and polite. I've never been there while it's been completely full but they have been very attentive every time I go. The place has plenty of space/tables. They have a veriety of dishes including chicken, vegetarian, and lamb. All the usual dishes you would expect at an Indian restaurant. I recommend the mango lassi. They also have alcoholic drinks if you are so inclined. There is ample parking out front.

This is a great place for lunch. The thali special is a great deal. My wife and I split it. They also have sweet tea and don't charge for refills! We also come for their buffets when they have them. The family that runs it are very friendly.
